Pages from the Philips

Just wanted to post some pictures from my sister Christine’s wedding at the end of June.  I’m just finishing my two weeks on the neonatal resuscitation team after I finished two weeks in the burn ICU.  Both have been good rotations but definitely some long hours in the ICU.  I’m starting a month of nights back in the ER starting on Monday.  Melissa is still sleep deprived as Vivek still wakes up 2-3 times a night to eat but we’ll start solid food with him in a couple more weeks and so I’m hoping he will sleep a little more soundly.

Karuna has been busy over the last two weeks enjoying her swimming classes and in fact she has gotten to be quite brave in the water (maybe a little too brave in my opinion) and she has thoroughly enjoyed her home schooling classes over the summer.  Luke still wears us out with his energy but he is quite the person to have the garden if I ever need anything dug up.   Speaking of our garden, some of our crops seem to be flourishing.  We have watermelons, cantaloupe and honeydew melons growing right now.  We are still harvesting quite a few raspberries still.  Our strawberries are growing well but no berries for a couple months since it has gotten so hot.  Our cucumbers also seem to be doing quite well but our onions and peppers are looking quite weak.  I’ll try to put up some pictures from our garden soon.
