Christine’s Wedding

Well it appears that I've gone blog crazy over the last few days since I've posted now three times this week...thankfully this excessive blogging will end soon for our blog readers as soon as I start a brutal week of multiple call days at the cardiac ICU at the VA.  Today was a very special day for us as we got to rejoice with my sister, Christine, as she married her new husband, Stan Mathew.

We have been so blessed to watch Christine's relationship with Stan blossom over the past year and it was a joy for us to be there with them to celebrate their relationship coming to fruition with their wedding today.  I've known Stan since high school and he has always been such a man of God who puts Christ first in his relationship and I could not think of a better man for me to entrust my little sister to.  Today was a busy day with lots of family in town (there were about 500 people at the wedding).  They had a beautiful ceremony where they emphasized the preeminence of Christ in their relationship and how a godly marriage should be modeled after the relationship Christ has with his bride, the church.  Of course there were lots of pictures taken at the wedding which I'll try to put up the next couple of weeks but until then I'll tide everyone over with some bridal pictures I took for Christine about a month ago at the Dallas Arboretum.  These pictures were under wrap until today when Stan got to meet his beautiful bride and now that he has seen her in her wedding dress I'll put up these pictures for you guys to take a look at what a beautiful young woman my little sister has become!
