We are still working hard on getting projects done around the house before Christo starts his residency orientation on June 22nd. The big things we have done so far have been to put in new ceiling fans in all the rooms (did you know that a ceiling can make a room feel 10 degrees cooler and uses a fraction of the energy compared to running an AC unit?), picking out applicances for the home, putting in new programmable thermostats to make our AC unit run more efficiently, and putting in wood blinds throughout the house. Our big project that we started tackling today has been adding built-in bookshelves similar to the ones we had in Rochester because we still have hundreds of books and right now nowhere to put them. We hope this project will be finished by this weekend so that we can tackle our next project of painting the house followed by landscaping work for the third week.
We will hopefully get to put up some pictures of the house soon with both before and after versions so that you can see what we have done so far. In family news, Christo’s sister, Chrisly, went to Michigan this weekend to start a year long internship at Kellogg which should be great opportunity for her but we are sad that she will not be around Dallas for a year. On Melissa’s side, Melissa’s sister, Jenni and her husband Ryan moved this past weekend to Florida to start a job at Walt Disney. Luke seems to finally have turned the corner with his giardia infection once we were able to finally convince the doctors here to put him on nitazoxinide. Thank you for the prayers offered on his behalf.
We also wanted to put up some pictures from our visit to Burrows Memorial Christian Hospital in Alipur and then from our time in Delhi when we got an opportunity to meet with EHA staff and to visit Anurag. Enjoy!

Melissa and Christo!
I looked for you at the graduation reception but did not see you. I am glad to hear you are getting settled in your new house and like your neighborhood. Alan and I are going to send an important email soon. Christo, I looked it up on the contact page on the exchange.
Thanks,
yaolin
